We provide
first-class health care and family services to
adult residents of Goochland regardless of their ability to pay.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Goochland residents who meet program and income guidelines are eligible for services.
Having medical insurance does NOT exclude a patient from receiving dental services provided they meet the eligibility criteria (no dental insurance, low-income).
WHAT DOES IT COST?
There is no charge for Medical or Family Services. A small supply fee is charged for dental care.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Register from 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Thursday at either location.

Goochland Free Clinic & Family Services is not a government agency. Our programs and services are possible through the generosity of individuals, corporations, churches, foundations, and the time and talents donated by our many volunteers.

HEALTH SERVICES:
We provide quality medical and dental services to adult residents of Goochland who are uninsured and cannot afford care. Having medical insurance does NOT exclude a patient from receiving dental services, provided they meet the eligibility criteria (no dental insurance coverage, low income).
Our services include:
MEDICAL CARE
Treatment of minor health problems and chronic illnesses
Medications
Diagnostic testing
Referrals to specialists
Cancer screening including mammograms and PAP tests
Help with stopping smoking
DENTAL CARE
Cleanings, fillings, extractions, and education
WHO PROVIDES THE CARE?
Dedicated doctors, nurses, dentists and other health professionals volunteer their time to see patients at the Free Clinic.

HOURS:
Both daytime and evening appointments are available.

Tuesday - 9 am to 8 pm
Friday - 9 am to 2 pm
Dental appointments are available Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Continuing care clinic appointments are available two days a week for people coping with ongoing health problems.
Please call for information about women's health screenings and dental hygiene appointments.
